Or 12 hours a month; or about 20 days a year. Multiply that by the number of employees in any organization and that's a lot of wasted time and money. The International Computer Driving License (ICDL) is an internationally recognised qualification that enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. ICDL aims to :
ICDL is designed to help people at work and at home. It confirms to potential employers that the person has a recognised, relevant and up-to-date qualification. For those new to computers, ICDL will provide you with a solid foundation of computer skills helping you to competently and confidently use computers. Acceptance of ICDL continues to grow strongly and there are already many that recognise ICDL as the benchmark for computer skills qualifications. Organisations supporting ICDL represent a broad cross section of industry and academia. Moreover, it is supported by the European Union, which ensures standards and levels of quality throughout Europe. ICDL is delivered in 36 languages and 18 million tests have been taken through 20,000 accredited test centers worldwide. In UK, there are 2500+ test centers. A huge 1,86% of the total UK population, over 1.1 million people have completed or registered for ICDL. |
