Introduction

Mechanical Engineering Drawing program teaches the skill of preparing engineering plans manually and computerized. This provides students the skills to become a skilled mechanical engineering draughtsman. Students will be exposed to the aspect of preparing the working papers and technical drawings, the techniques of preparing and assessing drawings, keeping records and filing of drawings, preparing materials and drawing equipments. This program will generate a group of skilled workers to meet the increasing demand in the field of Mechanical Engineering Drafting.

Entry Requirements

SPM/SPMV 1 credit preferably with a pass in BM.

Duration

Full time:

Level 1:- 6 months
Level 2:- 12 months

  • Prepare Drawing, Material and Equipment
  • Standard Lettering Symbol and Layout
  • Geometrical Drawing
  • Construct Projection
  • Perform Freehand and Sketches
  • Assembly and Detail Drawing
  • Provide Checklist and Related References
  • Produce Hardcopy for Finish Drawing
  • Record Procedure for Finish Drawing
  • Manage Finish Drawing
