New Student Registration for January 2010 Intake

It was day of excitement for students of International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (ICATS) and Pusat Pembangunan Kemahiran Sarawak (PPKS) as they enroll themselves for January intake. 450 new students registered at PPKS / ICATS for various programmes despite heavy downpour in the afternoon.
PPKS / ICATS, the premier leading technical training provider is currently offering 32 academic and skill programmes for SPM / STPM students including newly introduced Diploma In Civil Engineering and TRAK programme.
"The TRAK Programme is especially dedicated to form five school leavers who are waiting for their SPM result. The student has made a wise decision to join this college because upon completion of their 6-month training, they will at least acquire one skill in their chosen area of study and can further proceed with the college for higher level of studies. Students must equipped themselves well to ensure they are ready for employment, therefore all form five school leavers must take this opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge", said Tuan Haji Baharudin Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director of ICATS / PPKS in his opening speech.
The student affairs unit will be organizing various activities as part of orientation programme for new student to familiarize themselves with new environment and surroundings. A series of motivational talk including awareness talk and team building activites such as treasure hunt, tele-match, stage presentation, games and competitions are part of the orientation acitivies lining up for the orientation week.
