Course Overview :-
PPKS took the initiative to create opportunity for working people to upgrade themselves on part – time basis, to gain better and higher qualification. Wireman Grade 2 is a collaborative programme between PPKS and Sarawak Electricity Supply Corporation[SESCO]. The certificate covers up to 240V that is Domestic Wiring. At the end of the course participants will seat for the Wireman Grade 2 examination from Jabatan Kemudahan Awam Sarawak[Unit Merinyu Elektrik]
Course Objective :-
- At the end of the course the participants will be able to Install Domestic Electrical Wiring and also be able to conduct Consumer Installation Testing
- Trainee will be able to communicate with SESCO to commission electricity supply to consumers.
- Trainee gradually will be able to apply for Licensing and get Registered as Electrical Contractor of SESCO.
Methodogy :-
Lectures will be conducted using both Bahasa Malaysia and English. Hands – On skills will of emphasized with some theory to ensure participants obtain both the skillfull and knowledge required.
